I'm no different from everyone else, I may exercise at home, but I still wish I could go to a gym. Going to a gym would make me thin. Or that's what I believe. But a stupid amount of people subscribe to the gym and rarely bother to go making only their bank balance thinner.

I came across the above site via a twitter suggestion. Great site btw, check it out! Anyway, that link is about a woman who lost 62lbs in 9 months by walking. No gym. Just walking and well err running I guess too. But all free to do in the outside world.
I am moving house in the next week or so, so I haven't joined a gym in my current city because A - I was a poor student and B - I knew I wasn't staying. I had however planned to join one once I moved. Reading that little story made me think, well whats the point? I have waterproof trousers and a jacket, I have trainers and all being well I wont be a huge distance from a park so I have somewhere to walk. I am going to start walking. Normally I only walk if I am going somewhere, to uni, into the city, home from uni, to the corner shop to buy milk etc etc, but I think munchkin and I should just start walking for fun.
How do I keep an almost 3 year old amused when we go out walking? Chances are I will sling her in the pram to ensure I can walk a little faster and she doesn't get tired out. I don't think she will understand the concept of eye spy just yet - so any ideas are welcome!
Weight hasn't moved much this week. Down 1lb! And well we all know 1lb isn't really worth much as weight fluctuates daily. Fingers crossed as the eating is still going okay with snacks and calorie intake well reduced that 1lb will at least stay off and perhaps find a friend to sod off with it :D
Still trying to keep up with the challenges on the forum I use, planks and crunches - not great fun, but today for the first time i felt a little tightness in the muscles around my ribs! Success! I must at least be pushing myself to an acceptable level!
